Tenant kills houseowner in Bhubaneswar, detailed investigation underway

Bhubaneswar: A brutal murder in Bhubaneswar has taken place, a tenant has allegedly killed a house owner in Bhubaneswar, the capital city Odisha. The incident took place near a private college in Tamando area of Bhubaneswar.

According to reports, the police recovered the dead body from the roadside. Upon finding the body, the police rushed him to the hospital where the doctor declared him dead. The dead body was identified to be that of the house owner, Sushant Satpathy.

As per the information, the 35-year-old Sushant has rented out his house to a boy. The police are suspecting that the tenant has allegedly murdered Satapthy. However, the motive behind the murder is still unknown. The police have sent the dead body for autopsy. A detailed investigation is underway in this matter, further reports awaited.

On the other hand, a report has been filed in Chandaka Police Station regarding the kidnapping of a woman living in the Gothapatna locality. The kidnapper has demanded a ransom of Rs. 1 crore. The complaint was filed by the woman’s father at the police station. The woman was reportedly married while her husband worked in America. She was separated from her husband since the past two years and was staying in an apartment with her parents.
