Teachers prohibited from using mobile phones inside classroom in Odisha

Sambalpur: The District Education Officer (DEO) of Sambalpur Meena Rani Mangal has directed teachers not to use mobile phones during classes.

According to the reports, no teachers will be allowed to the classrooms with mobile phones since physical classes are affected in several ways due to the over phone conversations during classes.

Strict actions will be taken against the defaulters referring it for departmental proceedings, further said the official order.

It is to be noted that the primary classes, that is from Standards 1 to 5 of schools in Odisha are all set to reopen from January 3, 2022. The timings will be limited from 9 am to 12 noon.

The schools in which Class 10 Summative–1 exams are scheduled to be held between January 5 and January 8, can open by January 10.
