Tankadhar Tripathy appointed as director of South Eastern Coalfields Limited

Bhubaneswar: Tankadhar Tripathy has been reportedly appointed as the Director of the Board of Directors of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), the largest coal producing company in the country.

According to reports, Tripathy has been appointed Director of SECL for a period of three years.

While speaking about the appointment of Tankadhar Tripathy, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of SECL, Shri Ambika Prasad Panda said, “Tripathy will play a pivotal role in providing the strategic leadership to the policies of the company and his rich varied experience will certainly benefit in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.”

It is to be noted here that the South Eastern Coalfields Limited is the largest coal producing company in India. It is a “Miniratna” Company, and one of eight fully owned subsidiaries of Coal India Limited.
