Swine Flu Death Toll Rises to 24 In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The death toll due to Swine Flu in the state has increased to 24 with one more person succumbing to death while being treated at the SCB Medical College and Hospital today. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Jajpur.

Of the 43 swab samples, 12 tested positive on Thursday. So far, 259 people have tested positive for the H1N1 virus.

The Odisha Government had earlier issued guidelines for private and government hospitals to tackle swine flu. The Health and Family Welfare Department has also issued do’s and don’t for the general public.
