Bhubaneswar: The office of Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) on Thursday put 19 district of the state on alert predicting rain accompanied by lightning.
The SRC asked the administrations of the 19 districts and the people of the districts to be vigilant between 12 PM and 4 PM.
People in Mayurbhanj, Balasore,Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Khordha, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajpati, Puri, Angul, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Jagatsingpur, Rayagada, Deogarh, Kalahandi, Malkangiri and Koraput districts have been advised to stay indoors or take shelter in nearby buildings or other safe locations during these hours.
