Shocking! Man kills wife and surrenders before police in Puri, probe initiated
A man killed his wife under Talabania police station jurisdiction in Puri district of Odisha, an investigation is underway.
Puri: In a shocking incident, a man killed his wife and then surrendered before the Talabania police station, said reliable reports on Saturday.
Sources say that, the man killed his wife in Chamaar Sahir under Talabania police station jurisdiction in Puri. It is suspected that the murder was committed late last night.
After killing the woman, the man surrendered at the Talabania police station. The reason for the murder is still unclear. The Talabania police station has reached the spot and started an investigation.
On Friday the entire nation was shocked with a similar kind of news in which, a man killed his wife and stuffed her body in a suitcase in Bengaluru, the capital city of Karnataka.
According to reports, the man said to be around 36-year-old allegedly killed his 32-year-old wife, stuffed her body in a suitcase and left it behind in their rented south Bengaluru flat.
He later fled the spot. It is worth mentioning that the accused later called his landlord and the woman’s parents to report the crime. The landlord then discovered the suitcase with her body at the spot mentioned by the man.
The landlord then informed the police Police. The police then seized the body and sent it for postmortem. They then launched a manhunt to nab the accused. Later it was known that the couple had moved to Bengaluru from Mumbai recently.
The man was however arrested in about 24 hours near Pune. The reason for the gruesome murder is yet to be ascertained. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the reason of the crime.
