Shocking! Drunk man beats wife to death in Keonjhar, police probe underway
A minor argument turned fatal in Nayak Sahi, Manada village, as a drunk man brutally beat his wife resulting in her death
Keonjhar: In a shocking incident, a man brutally killed his wife under the influence of alcohol after a minor argument on Friday night. The incident took place in Nayak sahi of Manada village under Jashipur police station in Mayurbhanj district.
The man was identified as Muktiar Nayak and his deceased wife has been identified as Bilashi Nayak.
According to the sources, Muktiar returned to home late last night in an inebriated condition under the influence of alcohol. A minor argument broke out between the couple. Soon the matter escalated and in a fit of rage the man started beating his wife who died at the spot.
Hearing the loud cries from the house, the locals rushed to the spot. They informed the police.
Upon receiving information, police reached the spot and detained the accused husband. Police begun an enquiry into the matter to find out the exact reason behind the murder.
