Schools in Mayurbhanj district remain closed tomorrow, Supplementary HSC exam to continue
As announced by the collectors all Anganwadi centres across the district will also be shut for the next three days starting from tomorrow. But the Take Home Ration (THR) has already been distributed to children of the Anganwadi centres.
Baripada: All the schools across the Mayurbhanj district will remain closed tomorrow in view of heavy rain forecast, informed district collector Hema Kanta Say today.
According to district collector, all the schools including the private schools will remain closed tomorrow as the Regional Meteorological Centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a ‘Red’ warning for rain in the district.
However, the Supplementary HSC exam will continue as per the schedule announced by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSE, Odisha), the collector informed.
As announced by the collectors, all Anganwadi centres across the district will also be shut for the next three days starting from tomorrow. But the Take Home Ration (THR) has already been distributed to children of the Anganwadi centres.
It is to be noted here that the district has been witnessing heavy rainfall warning for the last couple of days which has massively affected the normal life of the locals.
