School text book error: Odisha Crime Branch intensifies probe, visits OSEPA headquarters to collect information
Odisha Crime Branch has intensified its probe into the school textbook errors case and as part of its probe it visited the office of the Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) headquarters to conduct a detailed investigation and collect more information.

A five-member Crime Branch team, led by DSP Narendra Behera, visited the OSEPA headquarters to collect information like how many books were printed as per the new education policy and how many of them have errors.
The OSEPA had earlier informed that Rs 175 crore was spent to print and distribute the text books. The Crime Branch team has asked the OSEPA furnish detailed information like how much money and to whom and when it was spent. The OSEPA has been asked to submit its reports by today itself.
After getting a detailed information, the probe agency is expected to issue notices to the concerned officials and employees and question them over the matter.
