Cuttack: In a tragic case of road accident in Cuttack, a Laxmi Bus with about 40 passengers overturned on its way to Bhubaneswar, said reports in this regard. The accident took place at around 3:00 AM near Nuapatna in Choudwar, Cuttack, reports confirmed.
The bus was carrying about 40 SHG (Self Help Group) ladies. Reportedly, the bus was on its way to the ‘Adivasi Mela’ in Bhubaneswar from Bambri in Cuttack’s Deogarh when it overturned, causing the accident.
The road accident in Cuttack took place due to the prevailing dense fog.
As a result of the accident, over 10 ladies were injured. However, no casualties were reported. The injured ones were taken to the SCB Medical in Cuttack for necessary medical attention. Further details into the matter are awaited.
