Rain in Odisha to continue till August 7! MeT issues yellow warning to 20 districts

The IMD has given a yellow alert to as many as 20 districts in Odisha for thunderstorm and lightning for heavy rainfall.

Bhubaneswar: Heavy rains will lash out in majority of Odisha for the next two days.

The IMD has given a yellow alert to as many as 20 districts in Odisha for thunderstorm and lightning. The  windspeed will remain between 30 to 40 kmph.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to lash in Mayurbhanj and IMD issued a yellow warning for it. Along with Mayurbhanj, 19 other districts have been issued a yellow warning.

There will not be any major change in the weather conditions till August 7. In some districts, light to moderate rainfall might occur.

The farmers and residents have been issued an alert warning by the Meteorological Department in Bhubaneswar.
