Bhubaneswar: Good news for the passengers as the Indian Railways has announced to run a weekly festival special train to ensure a comfortable travel experience and to manage the extra rush of passengers during the festive season.
As per the fresh announcement, the Indian Railways will operate Weekly Special Trains on Cherlapally-Shalimar Route as per the following schedule:
Train Details:
- Train No. 07225/07226 Cherlapally – Shalimar – Cherlapally Weekly Special
- From Cherlapally: Departs every Monday at 04:30 hrs, up to 13th October 2025
- From Shalimar: Departs every Tuesday at 10:00 hrs, up to 14th October 2025
Halts (both directions):
- Kazipet, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Khammam, Rayanapadu, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Duvvada, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur, and Santragachi.
Coach Composition:
- AC 2-Tier: 2 Coaches
- AC 3-Tier: 4 Coaches
- Sleeper Class: 13 Coaches
- General Second Class: 3 Coaches
