Police escort fuel tankers as drivers’ strike continues in Odisha, watch

Balasore: As the ongoing protest of the Odisha Drivers’ Mahasangha has sparked a fuel crisis in the State, several police vehicles were seen escorting fuel tankers today.

Several police vehicles were seen escorting fuel tankers along National Highway-16 in Soro area of Balasore district today.

Police had to escort the fuel tankers as the drivers allegedly tried to block tankers and requested the drivers to join the strike.

It is to be noted here that the indefinite ‘Quit Steering Wheel’ protest of the commercial drivers have entered its third day today, but the state government is yet to address their issues.
