Petrol and diesel prices hike for 8th straight day in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The petrol and diesel prices have continued to increase for the eighth consecutive day in Bhubaneswar on Thursday. Today, the petrol price has been recorded at Rs 108.65 per litre while the diesel rate is recorded at Rs 98.42 per litre.

While on Wednesday, the petrol and diesel price was recorded at Rs 107.68 and Rs 97.47 per litre respectively. The petrol rate has hiked by 97 paisa and diesel by 95 paisa in the last 24 hours.

The petrol and diesel rates in Cuttack have also increased and is recorded at Rs 109.02 and Rs 98.78 respectively.

Meanwhile, the fuel prices in major cities of India like Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai have been recorded at Rs 107.45, Rs 111.35, and Rs 116.72 respectively. The diesel price, on the other hand, is recorded at Rs 97.92 in Chennai, Rs 96.22 in Kolkata, and in Mumbai, the rates are at Rs 100.94.

The cost of petrol in the national capital, Delhi is recorded at Rs 101.81 per litre while the diesel is at Rs 93.07 per litre.
