Pahadpur awaits historic day as PM Modi set to visit Mayurbhanj on June 20
Pahadpur village is filled with excitement and enthusiasm over the anticipated arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mayurbhanj: Preparations are in full swing and the atmosphere in Pahadpur village, connected to the family of President Droupadi Murmu, is filled with excitement and enthusiasm over the anticipated arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The visit on June 20 is touted as a significant affair with the Prime Minister expected to land at the village helipad by helicopter by around noon.
He is expected to meet the local villagers during his stay and also offer prayers at the famous Gosani shrine of the village before he proceeds for the official programmes along with President Murmu.
As per reports, Modi’s visit to the village is part of the state’s two-year anniversary programme of the BJD government, aimed at showcasing its developmental schemes in Mayurbhanj and tribal belts across the state.
PM Modi will later visit Rairangpur for a public meeting. Several projects will be launched or dedicated to the public during the PM’s visit.
Senior state officials had recently reviewed the arrangements, including helipad facilities, crowd management, and security measures at the site and the PM’s visit will be a high-security operation.
A contingent of police will also be in presence to maintain law and order during the entire programme.
