The test was conducted between 10 AM and 1 PM in 30 centres in three cities of Odisha – Bhubaneswar, Berhampur and Rourkela amid three tier security.
The CBSE, following the directive of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, conducted the test for the first time in different regional languages like Odia, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Hindi and Tamil apart from English.
The results will be declared on June 8.
Notably, around 11.5 lakh candidates have registered for NEET- 2017 for 56,000 medical and dental seats across the country this year.
