OPSC announces OCS Preliminary Exam-2023 results, check list of candidates selected for Mains

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) today announced the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Preliminary Examination-2023 results, which was held on December 15, 2024.
A total of 4799 candidates including 1573 women have qualified for OCS (Main) Written Examination-2023. Candidates can click here to check OCS Preliminary Exam-2023 results or visit the official website of the Commission at http://opsc.gov.in.
“On the basis of the Odisha Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2023, held on 15.12.2024 pursuant to Advt. No.-20 of 2023-24, 4799 (1573-w) candidates have been provisionally qualified for admission to Odisha Civil Services Main (Written) Examination-2023, the Commission said in a notification.
“The detail programme of OCS (Main) Written Examination-2023 shall be notified later,” it added.
The selected candidates have been advised to keep in constant touch with the website of the Commission (www.opsc.gov.in) for further details in this regard.
In another notification, the OPSC said, “The candidature of Miss Chandrika Tandi, bearing Roll No. 503149 for recruitment to the posts of Odisha Civil Services Examination-2023, pursuant to Advt. No. 20 of 2023-24, has been rejected by the Commission on the ground of appearing the aforesaid Written Examination at a center other than the one recognized by the Commission.
It is to be noted here that the OPSC OCS Prelims 2023 examination was held at five zonal centres of the state- Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur zones to fill up a total of 399 vacancies in various departments of the state government.
While the registration process for the OPSC OCS 2023 examination was held between January 18 and February 16, 2024, the Prelims exam was slated to be held on October 27. However, the commission postponed the prelims in view of cyclone “DANA” and later it conducted on December 15, 2024.
