Odisha’s first state-of-the-art KIMS-Shubhra Rural Hospital inaugurated

Baripada: Odisha’s first state-of-the-art KIMS-Shubhra Rural Hospital has been inaugurated in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. The 25-bed hospital has been inaugurated in a remote rural area of ​​the state in Kunchishola village under Betanati block of Mayurbhanj district.

KIMS, Bhubaneswar and Subhra Foundation, Gujarat have inaugurated the KIMS-Shubhra Rural Hospital. Former CAG Dr. Girish Chandra Murmu’s mother Parvati Murmu inaugurated the hospital in presence of KISS, KIIT and KIMS founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta and Dr. Girish Murmu.

A free health camp was also organized along with this. Medical services were provided by expert doctors of KIMS Medical College in the camp.

For the hospital while the entire infrastructure has been provided by the Subhra Priyamvada Foundation for this rural hospital, the clinical establishment, operation and all administrative responsibilities are being handled by KIMS. All the latest machines and testing facilities are being provided by KIMS in this hospital. Ambulance services are also available in this hospital.

Former CAG Dr. Girish Chandra Murmu said that the unemployed, tribals of the local area and the general public will benefit from KIMS and Subhra Hospital.

Dr. Girish Murmu said that after going through many problems for such a hospital, his dream has come true today for Dr. Samanta. Dr. Girish Murmu said that Dr. Samanta, who has dedicated his life to social service, will provide many more services to the people of Mayurbhanj district in the future.

Kunchishola village of Betanati is the birthplace of former CAG Dr. Girish Chandra Murmu.

In today’s health camp, the health of Dr. Girish Chandra Murmu’s mother Parvati Murmu was tested as the first patient. Later, various people of the village were treated in the camp.

KIMS Deputy Superintendent Dr. Harish Chaudhary managed the forum, while Baripada Deputy Collector Dr. Dayasindhu Parida, KIMS Superintendent Dr. Manas Behera were prominently present among others.
