Rain in Odisha due to Low pressure will continue for 3 more days, especially in Kalahandi, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri.
Bhubaneswar: The days are going to be more drenched in Odisha, as the rain is showing no signs of cessation. The low pressure rain is likely to continue further for three more days.
As a result of the active low pressure over the Southern Odisha nearing the Bay of Bengal and the adjoining Andhra Pradesh coast, the rains are being witnessed.
The rains will continue till August 19 at several places in Odisha, especially in Southern Odisha.
The MeT Department has predicted heavy rainfall for today and tomorrow to five districts and issued a yellow warning. These districts are Kalahandi, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri.
Similarly, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected to lash out in Malkangiri and Koraput on August 19.
The cyclonic circulation developed into a low pressure area on August 13 and subsequently the low pressure transformed into a well marked low pressure area. This will bring about rain in Odisha mostly in the southern region in Kalahandi, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri.
