“Accordingly, Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) is requested to revisit the existing bus routes and timings so as to include the maximum number of schools in the operational routes. The District Education Officers have been instructed separately to provide required information for re-mapping of bus routes. In order to compensate the revenue loss likely to be incurred due to implementation of this scheme, it has been decided that the required budgetary provision will be made by the Commerce & Transport Department,” it added.
