Odisha temperature to fall after 3 days due to Kalabaisakhi

Bhubaneswar: The temperature will fall after three days due to the effects of Kalabaskhi in Odisha, informed Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

Reportedly, the temperatures will drop by 2 degrees Celsius between May 1 and May 2. No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during the next 3 days.

The heat wave conditions prevailed at isolated places over the districts of North Interior Odisha. Maximum temperatures (day temperature) were above normal by 3 to 5°C at many places over districts of interior Odisha, they were above normal by 2 to 3°C at a few places over the districts of coastal Odisha.

Maximum temperature very likely to be more than 40°C and it is likely to be above normal by 3 to 5°C at many places over districts of interior Odisha and likely to be above normal by 2 to 3 °C at a few places of coastal Odisha during next 3 days.

People are advised to take precautionary measure while going outside during day time between 11 am and 3 pm during next 3 days. It is advised to avoid heat exposure, keep cool and avoid dehydration.
