Odisha reports 86 Covid cases today: I&PR

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported below 100 Covid cases for the second consecutive day with 86 positives including 23 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Sunday. The positive tally stands at 12,86,626.

Reportedly, among the 86 positives, 50 patients are in quarantine, and 36 are the local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 897.

Sambalpur records the highest Covid cases today with 15 positives followed by Sundargarh with 14 cases. Similarly, Gajapati reported nine cases, followed by Nabarangpur, Mayurbhanj, Balangir records 6 positives in each district. Cuttack records 5 Covid cases, followed by Balasore and Kendrapara with four cases each, Jajpur and Koraput with three cases each, Khordha and Kandhamal with two cases each.

Adding to it, Boudh, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jharsuguda, Malkangiri, Rayagada, and State Pool have reported the least number of cases with only 1 positive in each district.
