Odisha Matric exam question pattern to undergo major change: BSE President

Cuttack:  Board of Secondary Education (BSE) President Jahanara Begum on Thursday informed that the board has decided to bring major changes in the question pattern of the annual Matric examination from 2020-21 academic session.

Begum said that the OMR sheet and multiple choice questions will be abolished and there will be objective questions of 50 marks and subjective type questions of 50 marks in the question booklet.

In order to pass in a subject, each student has to score 15 marks each in objective and subjective category, she added.

Besides, four sets of question papers will be prepared for each subject instead of the existing three sets.

The question pattern for Class-IX students will also be same, the SE President said.
