Odisha man defrauds hotel in Varanasi, flees without paying bill worth lakhs

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, an Odisha man allegedly defrauded Taj hotel in Varanasi. He stayed there for four days and fled.
According to reports, the man defrauded the hotel off Rs. 2 lakh. He stayed and ate there for four days and left. Later, the hotel management lodged a complaint with the police regarding this incident.
The hotel Taj Ganges manager said that the Odisha man, stayed in a luxury room from October 14 to 18 and ate food but left without paying the bills.
The Taj hotel management further added that the aggregate amount of the pending bill stood at more than Rs 2 lakh. The man fled and as the hotel staff searched, they could not get through to him. They found just a few clothes in his room.
The police has launched a manhunt to find the fraudster. Further detailed reports awaited.
