Odisha LoP Naveen Patnaik’s health improving, CM, and others pray for his speedy recovery

The health conditions of Odisha Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik is improving and he is expected to be discharged from the hospital soon, informed the Biju Janata Dal (BJD).

Bhubaneswar: The health conditions of Odisha Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik is improving and he is expected to be discharged from the hospital soon, informed the Biju Janata Dal (BJD).

Taking to its X handle, the conch party said, “Biju Janata Dal President and Leader of Opposition Shri Naveen Patnaik (@Naveen_Odisha) is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Bhubaneswar due to dehydration. His health is improving and with the blessings of Lord Jagannath and the love of the people of Odisha, he will be discharged from the hospital soon.”

Meanwhile, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy CMs KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida and others prayed for Patnaik’s speedy recovery.

This apart, Odisha health minister Mukesh Mahaling, Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, several MLAs and eminent politicians including Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President Bhakta Charan Das visited the private hospital and inquired about the former Chief Minister’s health conditions.

Several BJD MLAs and leaders also met their party president and wished for his speedy recovery.

Patnaik, the former Chief Minister of Odisha, was rushed to the private hospital and admitted after he felt ill due to dehydration.

However, his health condition is stated to be stable and he is reportedly responding well to treatment by a team of dedicated doctors of the hospital.

As informed by a party leader Patnaik felt uneasiness on Saturday night following which some doctors visited his residence, Naveen Niwas, and advised for his admission at the hospital for further treatment.
