Odisha Govt Nurses Strike called off, Nurses to join work from 11.30 pm today

Bhubaneswar: In the matter of the Odisha Government Nurses ongoing strike, Odisha health minister Dr Mukesh Mahaling today said that the nurses will join back to their work from tomorrow morning, they have assured.

As per reports, a little earlier today the Odisha Nursing Officer Association met health minister Mukesh Mahaling at the Lokseva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar to discuss about the ongoing strike.

Following the discussion the health minister said that the nurses will join back to work from tomorrow morning, they have assured.

However, on the other hand the Nurses Association said that they will tell about the decision whether the strike will continue or called off, after discussion with their members. They said that they will discuss about this with members of all the district and then will inform their decision by today night.

It is to be noted that the Nursing officers of Govt hospitals in Odisha are on strike these days with their 10 charter demands in Odisha for which medical services has been affected.

Update:

The Odisha Govt Nurses Strike was called off after four days today. The nurses will reportedly join back to their work from 11.30 pm of Saturday.

Earlier, health Minister Mukesh Mahaling had said that the nurses will join back to work tomorrow morning while the protesting nurses had said that they will discuss and inform the decision by today night. And they decided to call off the strike and join back to their work.
