Odisha govt lifts ban on stalled Home guard recruitment

Bhubaneswar: In a welcoming move on Saturday, the Government of Odisha lifted the ban on the recruitment of the posts for the home guard in the state. As per the directions of Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, the vacancies  for the post of home guards will be filled up soon.

There are 17,675 posts for home guards in the state but only 15,306 home guards are working now with 2,369 posts vacant as per reports. This news has been welcomed by one and all aspiring for the home guard recruitment

Indian citizens of the age group 20-60 years can apply for the post of home guard and both male and female candidates are recruited for the post of home guards.
