Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati will inaugurate the much-awaited Gopalpur Beach Festival on January 27, informed Commerce and Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena today.
Berhampur: Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati will inaugurate the much-awaited Gopalpur Beach Festival on January 27, informed Commerce and Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena today.
According to Bhusan, the festival was earlier scheduled to be held between January 22 and January 26. But now it has been rescheduled to January 27 with the aim to accommodate ceremonial events and special guests.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will grace the closing ceremony on January 30, the Commerce and Transport Minister informed.
Both local and outside artists including some Bollywood stars are expected to perform live during the four-day Gopalpur Beach Festival. This apart, the visitors will also get to see the handicrafts, beach activities, and regional cuisine from across the state and beyond.
