Odisha forms committee to examine & suggest measures for rationalization of fixation of market value of immovable properties

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government today formed a committee to examine and suggest measures for rationalization of fixation of market value of immovable properties.

As per a notification issued by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the State government, a six-member committee has been constituted today to examine and suggest measures for rationalization of fixation of market value of immovable properties.

“In pursuance of decisions taken in the high level meeting on the market valuation of immovable properties, Government in Revenue and DM Department have been pleased to constitue a Committee with the members given below which will examine and suggest measures for rationalization of fixation of market value of immovable properties,” read the notification.

  1. Sashadhar Nayak, Additional Secretary to Govt- Chairman
  2. Subrat Satpathy, Inspector General of Registration- Member
  3. Diganta Routroy, Additional Secretary to Govt.- Member Convenor
  4. Gopabadhu Parida, District Sub Registar, Cuttack- Member
  5. Srikanta Kumar Behera, Deputy IGR, Southern Range- Member
  6. Debaranjan Mohanty, Deputy IGR, North Range, Sambalpur- Member

This committee shall submit the report after consultation with all stakeholders.
