Angul: In a shocking incident, a former Zilla Parishad member has been brutally murdered while worshiping outside his house.
The incident took place under the Balaram Prasad police station area of Angul district in Odisha.
The deceased has been identified as Shibiram Sahu, a former Zilla Parishad member in Zone Number 26.
The motive behind the murder is yet to be known.
Police is investigating into the matter.
