It is to be noted here that Congress party has called for an Odisha Bandh today in the wake of death of a 20-year-old B.Ed student of Fakir Mohan Autonomous College in Balasore, who had attempted self-immolation after alleging sexual harassment by her head of the department (HoD) Samir Sahu. The girl student had subsequently died while undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.
It is worth mentioning that, Petrol pumps across State will remain closed today in view of the Odisha Bandh called by the Congress party, informed All Odisha Petrol Dealers Association President Shashank Shekhar Sahu.
