According to sources, the CHSE will soon issue a notice in this regard.
The decision of the CHSE came after students along with their staff and parents across the state opposed the allotment of a single sitting for both Botany and Zoology subjects of Biology paper which is scheduled to held on March 23.
Initially the students were to write the Botany paper from 10 AM to 11.30 AM and after submitting their answer sheets they were to sit for the Zoology exam till 1.15 PM.
Earlier Botany and Zoology exams were conducted separately on different days and the examinees were allotted two hours each for both the subjects. However, both the papers of Biology have been now included in a single sitting as the council has decided to introduce the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) pattern of Plus Two exam.
