Nisha Maharana moves Orissa High Court to evade arrest
Controversial item girl Jhilee Malik alias Nisha Maharana has reportedly moved the Orissa High Court seeking anticipatory bail to evade arrest by police.
Cuttack: Controversial item girl Jhilee Malik alias Nisha Maharana has reportedly moved the Orissa High Court seeking anticipatory bail to evade arrest by police.
It is to be noted here that the Balangir Sadar police took a suo moto cognizance after learning about the obscene dance performance by Nisha Maharana at an open-air stage in Chandanbhati village of Balangir district on January 12.
The police action followed after several video of the controversial dance went viral on social media.
In course of investigation, police yesterday arrested two organisers Surendra Nag and Radhesyam Meher. However, the court granted them bail.
The police team is currently searching for Nisha Maharana to arrest her. However, today she approached the High Court seeking anticipatory bail to evade her arrest.
