National Flag hoisted for Independence Day at KIIT, KISS, KIMS with Founder Dr Achyuta Samanta as Chief Guest
The Founder of the KIIT, KISS and KIMS group of Institutions Dr. Achyuta Samanta was the Chief Guest of the Independence Day celebrations
Bhubaneswar: Independence Day was celebrated at KIIT, KISS, KIMS, KIIT Public School and KIIT International School with great pomp and show. The Chancellor of KISS University Professor Debasish Bandopadhyay hoisted the flag today.
The Founder of the KIIT, KISS and KIMS group of Institutions Dr. Achyuta Samanta was the Chief Guest. He addressed the students and extended his greetings. He said, “the development of the nation can only be achieved through the development of the Janajati. KISS has been involved in the development of the Janajati through education for more than 33 years.”
On this occasion, Mr. Samanta advised the students to become good people and make a name for the country with education.
Similarly, at KIIT University, Vice Chancellor Professor Sharanjit Singh hoisted the flag, while at KITT International School, School Chairperson Dr. Monalisa Bala, and at KIMS, Vice Chancellor of KIIT University Dr. CBK Mohanty hoisted the National Flag.
In the Independence Day celebration programs held at various campuses, KISS University Registrar Professor Gyan Ranjan Mohanty, KISS Chief Executive Officer Dr. Prashant Kumar Routray, KIIT International School Chairman Dr. Sanjay Suar and KIMS Medical College Chairman Dr. R. C. Das along with faculty, staff, teachers, students were present.
Along with a parade performance by the KIIT students, a cultural program was presented by the students.
