Nandankanan achieves record visitor numbers and revenue in 2024-25
Of the total 39,52,097 visitors, 37,71,980 visited the Nandankanan Zoological Park while 1,80,117 visited the State Botanical Garden, informed the officials of Nandankanan.
Bhubaneswar: The Nandankanan Zoological Park has welcomed a record-breaking 39,52,097 visitors during the financial year 2024-25, generating a total revenue of Rs 25.37 Crores from all sources—the highest in its history.
Of the total 39,52,097 visitors, 37,71,980 visited the Nandankanan Zoological Park while 1,80,117 visited the State Botanical Garden, informed the officials of Nandankanan.
Out of the total visitors, there were 32,32,126 adults, 7,19,178 children, and 793 foreign nationals among visitors of the financial year, added the officials.
The revenue break up:
- Rs 16.35Crores from visitors’ entry fees, parking, camera fees, etc.,
- Rs 5.87 Crores from outsourced facilities,
- Rs 3.15 Crores from adopt an animal program.
