Mother-Daughter Duo Killed in Hit-and-Run Truck Accident in Balangir

Balangir: In a tragic incident, a mother and her daughter died on the spot after an unidentified truck hit their scooter in Balangir of Odisha on Tuesday. The accident took place at Gandhinagar Para under Town Police Station limits.
The deceased were identified as Suman Nag and her daughter Smruti Nag, both residents of Kandhapali Pada in Balangir town.
As per the information received, the two were riding a scooter when the truck rammed into them from behind. The vehicle fled the scene immediately after the crash.
After getting information Police rushed to the spot and initiated probe. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to trace the absconding truck and its driver.
