Bolangir: Morning walk turned out to be tragic for college student as he dies in an accident on the early hours of Sunday morning at Gedabanji Chhak of Bolangir district.
The deceased student, identified as Puroshattam Bhuye.
Reports say, Puroshattam was on his way for walk when a speeding pick-up van rammed over him and he was killed on the spot.
The irated locals staged a road blockade demanding financial assistance for the family members of the deceased.
Similarly, today morning, two youth who were on their morning walk were crushed to death by an overspeeding vehicle. The accident took place at NH-46 near Muktapur village of Odisha’s Angul district.
