Umerkot: Miscreants looted cash and gold jewellery worth lakhs from a house and beat up the owner, leaving him critically injured. The incident took place in Jamia colony of Umerkot area of Narabarangapur district.
According to reports, the masked miscreants entered the house of one of Taraka Haldar late Saturday night by breaking the door of the house and attacked him with a sharp weapon. Taraka was critically injured in the attack and slumped to the ground. Even in critical condition, they did not spare him and started beating him. Then they looted all the cash, gold and the smartphone from the house.
