Update: The magnitude of the quake on the Richter scale was less than 2.5 sources said. The Indian Meteorological department is yet to confirm it.
Bhubaneswar: An earthquake of mild intensity was experienced in some parts of Bhubaneswar and its neighbouring areas this morning around 7:17 am.
The tremors were for a very short duration of time and were felt in only some areas of the capital city. As the magnitude of the quakes was small, no loss of property has been reported.
