Bhubaneswar: The weather forecast of Odisha by the India Meteorological Centre here in Bhubaneswar on Monday says there is rain for the next seven days. The rain shall range from light to moderate in intensity.
The MeT further informed that a Monsoon throughline has been formed which would result in rain in the state. The coastal districts shall see heavy to very heavy rainfall in a few places. Cuttack, Puri, Khurda, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Deogarh and Jharsuguda may experience heavy rains.

August 7:
Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal and at a few places over the rest districts of Odisha. Yellow Warning for Heavy rainfall (7cm to 11cm)very likely to occur at one or
two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak.
August 8:
Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of Odisha. Yellow Warning for heavy rainfall (7cm to 11cm) very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Bolangir, Nuapada, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur.
August 9:
Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Odisha and at a few places over the districts of South Odisha. Yellow Warning and heavy rainfall (7cm to 11cm)very likely to occur at one or two places over some districts of North Odisha.
