Mayurbhanj: Application of candidate for post of Anganwadi helper found torn outside office
The candidate had applied for the post of Anganwadi helper and had attached her educational qualification and other papers too.
Udala: In a shocking incident, miscreants have torn the application of a candidate for the post of Anganwadi helper in Pingu Bandrabani centre under Kaptipada block of Mayurbhanj district.
A candidate had applied for the post of Anganwadi helper (AWH) of Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS). This morning her application letter was found torn in pieces in front of the office of ICDS.
According to information, Sangeeta Biswal had applied for the post. She had applied for the post and had also specified her educational qualification and other papers related to the recruitment. This was supposed to verified three days ago, but could be completed on the scheduled date.
The candidate’s husband has brought this incident to the notice of the ICDS Child Development and Protection Officer (CDPO). She assured the complainant that she will investigate the matter and talk to the Sub-collector about the incident.
On the other hand, the candidate’s husband has expressed his concern over the incident and asked for proper investigation in the matter.
There are as many as 1,12,090 Cook-cum-Helpers who prepare food and distribute to over 42.45 lakh students of 50,618 primary school and upper primary schools across the State.
The Odisha government had reportedly increased the monthly remuneration of the PM POSHAN Cook-cum-Helpers to Rs 3000 from Rs 2000.
