Malkangiri: The Border Security Force (BSF) jawans busted a maoist camp and seized huge amount of explosives at Kalimela of Malkangiri district on Saturday.
The jawans seized explosives near Dayaltungi village in the Benjangiwada forest during combing operation.
As per tip-off, 142 battalion BSF jawan carried out a special operation at the Benjangiwada forest and seized three tiffin bombs, 62 gelatin sticks, Maoist banner, pamplets and equipments from the Maoist dump.
The Forest has been a strong hold for the Maoists cadres and they usually stored IED, IED making materials, arms and other items in isolated locations to target the security forces operating in the area.
