Redhakhol: In a shocking incident, a man has shot the lover of his wife in Sambalpur district of Odisha, said reports on Wednesday.
The shooting incident took place in Khetinali village of Badanupada in Redhakhol block of Sambalpur district.
The critically injured lover was first shifted to Burla and then to Cuttack in a critical condition. After the incident, the husband has escaped from the scene.
According to the available information, the woman left her marital home more than two years ago and was living with her boyfriend.
Yesterday, the woman came to the village with her boyfriend, but her husband saw her ahd lost his cool and shot at her lover. Police are conducting a further investigation into the incident. A manhunt has been launched for the husband.
