Man kills wife in Balasore due to family dispute, detained by police

Jaleswar: In a shocking incident, a man has allegedly killed his wife in Jaleswar block of Balasore district in Odisha said reports on Monday.

According to reports, there was family related disagreement between the wife and the husband in which in a fit of rage, the man killed his wife. The incident took place in Banida village of Jaleswar block in Balasore district.

The locals of the area heard the scream of the wife and reached the spot. Only to find her dead. They immediately informed the local police. The police rushed to the spot and detained the alleged attacker husband. They then recovered the body and sent it for post mortem.

The husband is being questioned relating to the incident. From preliminary investigation it has been found that the offence took place due to a family related dispute. Further investigation is underway. Detailed reports awaited in this matter.

Recently in a shocking incident on July 19, a man killed his wife in Balasore district of Odishasaid reports, she was allegedly beaten to death. The husband was reportedly drunk and committed the crime late at night.

The husband identified as Pandu Singh thrashed his wife Jannu Singh to such an extent that she lost her life. The shocking incident occurred in Kamarpal village which comes under the Oupada Police Station of Balasore.

The complaint of the incident was registered by Jannu’s sister in the Oupada Police Station. The Police reached and started their probe. While investigating, they saw severe bleeding from Jannu’s mouth and nose following which she had breathed her last.
