Bhubaneswar: The government has implemented a major IAS reshuffle in Odisha, said reliable reports on Thursday. According to reports, here are the changes that have been implemented:
- Dr. Bijay Ketan Upadhyaya, IAS (RR-2009), Secretary, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack is appointed as Director, Odia Language, Literature & Culture. The post of Director, Odia Language, Literature & Culture is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary provided in the IAS Cadre of the State. He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Director, Odisha Paribar.
- Ashish Thakare, IAS (RR-2011), Collector & DM, Balasore is appointed as Secretary, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack.
- Dilip Routrai, IAS (SCS-20111, Director, Director, Odia Language, Literature & Culture with additional charge of Director, Odisha Paribar is appointed as Collector & DM, Bhadrak. ln exercise of the powers conferred under section 1a(1) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the State Government do hereby appoint Dilip Routrai, IAS as the District Magistrate in the district of Bhadrak.
- Kamal Lochan Mishra, IAS(SCS-20l1), Collector & DM, Nabarangpur is appointed as Executive Director, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority. The post of Executive Director, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary provided in the IAS Cadre of the State.
- Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, IAS(RR-2012), Collector & DM, Jajpur is appointed as Director, Soil Conservation and Watershed Development, 0disha, Bhubaneswar. The post of Director, Soil Conservation and Watershed Development, Odisha is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary provided in the IAS Cadre of the State.

- Smruti Ranjan Pradhan, IAS (NSCS-20121, Collector & DM, Gajapati is appointed as Collector & DM, Kendrapara. ln exercise of the powers conferred under section 1a(1) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the State Government do hereby appoint Smruti Ranjan Pradhan, IAS as the District Magistrate in the district of Kendrapara.
- Swadha Dev Singh, IAS (RR-2014), Collector & DM, Nayagarh is appointed
as Additional Secretary to Government, PR & DW Department. - Parul Patawari, IAS(RR-2015), State Project Director, OSEPA with additional charge of Member Secretary, Mo School is appointed as Collector & DM, Rayagada. ln exercise of the powers conferred under section 1a(1) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the State Government do hereby appoint Parul Patawari, IAS as the District Magistrate in the district of Rayagada.
