Madhumita Das new Fakir Mohan University VC

Bhubaneswar: Noted academician and German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) fellow Dr Madhumita Das has been appointed the new vice-Chancellor of Fakir Mohan University in Balasore district. Das is currently serving as a Geology professor in Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.

Odisha Governor and Chancellor of Fakir Mohan University Dr SC Jamir appointed Das as the next vice-Chancellor of the varsity for a period of three years from the date she assumes office, according to a notification.

Notably, Das has authored 3 books and has teaching experience of 37 long years. She has 120 research publications published in various national and international journals.
