Athgarh: In a tragic incident there has been a mad monkey scare in Odisha’s Athgarh area, as many as seven people had been injured.
According to reports, a mad monkey created terror in Ghandikhal village under Khuntuni forest area of Athgarh. As many as seven people were injured in the monkey attack. The villagers were frightened to step out of their house due to the mad mionkey terror.
However, the forest department was called for help. A special team of Nandankanan arrived and captured the monkey by tranquilizing it. Neelmadhav Sahu of the Khuntuni range informed that the monkey will be released in the protected forest after a proper health check. Further detailed reports awaited in this matter.
