Low pressure to form today, orange warning issued for 4 Odisha districts, watch
The Meteorological Department has issued a red warning for two districts, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar, for heavy rainfall tomorrow.
Bhubaneswar: Heavy rain is coming. Low pressure will form today. A cyclone has formed in the west-central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal. Today it will take the form of a low pressure. Under its influence, the amount of rainfall will increase in Odisha.
Orange warning has been issued for 4 districts today due to very heavy rainfall. Orange alert has been issued for Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput and Malkangiri. Thunderstorms are likely to occur at one or two places in coastal Odisha and South Odisha.
Similarly, yellow warning has been issued for 8 districts due to lightning, thundershowers and rain today.
The Meteorological Department has issued a red warning for two districts, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar, for heavy rainfall tomorrow.
Similarly, yellow alert has been issued for 8 districts for lightning, thundershowers and very heavy rainfall. Rain will continue in various places in the state till 27th July.
Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea. And after 28th July the rainfall will decrease in the state.
