Long queues seen at Baripada Head Post Office as customer services yet to be normalized

Baripada: Even after 4 days, post office services are yet to be normalized in some places of Odisha. Today customers were seen standing in queue at the Head Post Office of Baripada who had visited there for different services.

As per reports, last Saturday, IT-2.0 software was introduced in Post offices in some districts of Odisha with the aim of simplifying postal services.

However, since the old system was discontinued, services have been severely impacted. The network connection is unstable, sometimes available and sometimes not.

Today, a long queue was witnessed outside Baripada Head Post Office, with customers waiting to send parcels or deposit money. With Rakhi Purnima approaching, people are struggling to send Rakhis on time due to the poor post office service at some post offices.
