Lok Bhavan Garden to open for general public’s visit from January 10, here’s how to book your visits
The Lok Bhavan Garden (Raj Bhawan Garden) at Bhubaneswar shall remain open for the visit of general public and school students from January 10.
Bhubaneswar: The Lok Bhavan Garden (Raj Bhawan Garden) at Bhubaneswar shall remain open for the visit of general public and school students from January 10.
As per the announcement, general public can visit the Lok Bhavan Garden between 2.30 PM and 6.15 PM till January 20. There will be no entry fee. However, the entry is permitted only through Lok Bhavan Garden Visit mobile App (which can be downloaded from Google Play Store).
Once downloaded the app, open it and it will ask you for choosing language (English or Odia). Then it will lead you to another page where you will be asked about the date, number of visitors and visitor information. Then your entry will be registered and you can know from the booked now option.
The school students up to Class-X, however, have to visit from 8.30 AM to 10.30 A.M only on the basis of written request from school authorities. The school students should come in their school uniform and with school identity card and must be accompanied by adequate number of teachers and other employees of school.
For permission for visit of Lok Bhavan garden by school students, the School Authorities concerned may send their written request to the ADC to Governor on E-mail ID- adc.odishagovernor@od.gov.in
The request must contain the full name and contact details of the person under whose supervision, the students will visit Lok Bhavan garden, the date of the intended visit, number of students and teaching and nonteaching staffs of the school and such other details.
Everyone has been requested to abide by the safety norms and regulations of Lok Bhavan security and no food and beverage is allowed inside the campus during such visit.
